I hear my little brother (teenager yt) and his friends hailup each other the same way.....a black family moved into town recently from Toronto and the teenage son hailup everybody black and white the same way. So all the kids here start copy him wid the sup ni66as

Hear this, I saw the teen in town the other day, he says....yo my girl yu is so and so sis right.....yu looking goooood gurl. I lost it an ask di bwoy a woo heem a chat to so.....brite. Anyway him apologize and say sorry Miss I didn't mean anything

To the majority of kids today it's Just another word.

Black and white And in between, the kids today are ignorant of the emotional baggage That older folks meaning adults recognize about it.

To them it is history.

It is they think as antient as the revolutionary war .

as old As the civil war And Just As meaningless to them.

I find it ironic that some old white people, say over the age of 70 or so years old will use that word because that is what they grew up using. Many white folks between the ages of 30 to 69 won't use it because of it's racial connotations, while white youths use it to sound cool.
