what advice would u give to smaddy who nuh see yard fi di past 6 years? mi a land a town likkle before christmus.

mi can still go hellshire go get miss may fry fish and festival or did udc tear dung di shop dem?

YS falls still nice? wah bout blue lagoon and dem dere places?

dem still a hijack car weh a leff fram airport? shud i tek juta?

yes i will leave mi bling a farrin and wear mi goodwill clothes .

any odda advice?

I haven't been to hellshire in a while but my sister said the water still feel nice and di festival and fry fish still a sey one! lol!

Blue lagoon - was there last year and it is officially "under construction" however, you can still drive in and pay one of the rafters for a lagoon ride. The price was just right, no crowd just a few locals selling their stuff. My rafter was an elderly guy name Desmond. Him did full a joke.

Nuh badda wid nuh Juta after yu nuh tourist. Yu nuh have friends a yard who can set you up on a rental car? Airport road is okay.

YS falls -- is that the one in Portland? Can't remember the falls I visited but it is in Portland before getting to St. Margaret's Bay (or is it after?) and it was great.

Nuh go dung a yard a look like bangarang.

LOL! Somerset Falls is the one. The guide there took us right under and on the other side of the falls -- it was the most gorgeous sight. Very knowledgeable young man as he was very familiar with the geological infrastructure and rock formations. That side of the falls was for me.... untouched.

Did I tell the story of my broken down vehicle at Reach Falls and how the workers there literally took me under their wings. LOL! Bwoy mi have some Jamaica adventure stories....

mi think yuh did agguh seh...no mattah hommuch disguise yuh wear, dem know when yuh juss lan haffah di plane...only thing is hiff yuh leave yuh trinkets at home, dere will be nothing to grab as sucj.

Dem look and see how many times you go into yu pocket and lift a grand or two (Jamaican
Too many pocket and hand movements can catch any impoverished eye.

Lay back a likkle. If yu move in earnest, it means yu have no time to be broke.
When yu bruk, idle awhile and join the crowd. Nuhbaddy nah guh si yu under dem type of circumstansis.

I would`nt have thought that jamaica has changed much in 6 years,maybe some of the highways has been completed,but I should imagine that attitudes are still the same,and criminals has maybe upgraded their criminal activities to a different level,chances are,if it exists 6 years ago it has now been improved.

When I left jamaica I first went back after 18 years,the changes were pretty obvious,the advise I would give to someone not being there for only 6 years is....shop around for someone who will give you a decent exchange rate for your dollar/pound.
