Confirmed: Detectives will be collecting statements from employees of the Jucie Beef Patty outlet on West Street in downtown Kingston as the security forces try to make sense of what happened.
Sources close to the investigation has revealed that according to eye witnesses the incident started when a number pof men entered the premises and one was unhappy with the amount of beef in his patty.
According to the witness who refused to give her name,two of the men bought one patty with two coco bread with box drinks,a couple of their party also bought patties,one without coco bread,and one with,along with a little biggah drink,and an egg nog.
according to the eye witness the man bit into the patty and then exclaimed...."a wah de bl.....a wah kinda patty dis widout meat,how unnu fe sell beef patty an it no have no beef innah it"
She said the man then pulled out a gun and demand a fat patty full with beef and an extra coco bread,he threatened to shoot one of the employees at the counter if he did not receive a fat patty,his cronies then all pulled guns and demanded extra coco bread,one wanted a cup cake and an extra little biggah to wash it down.
It appeared the situation escalated when another patty was produced and it too lacked enough beef.
The police are still collating all their evidence,but has pointed out that this is a complicated case,not made any easier as the gunmen has ate all the evidence,and it will take some time to fathom,one of their officers has been posted to the patty shop where he has already ran up an hefty bill in patties and coco bread trying to determine if there is indeed enough beef in a juici p[atty.
