I'm still gonna go...maybe the way i asked the question offended them (which was funny to me cuz of some of the things said and the parts of it i could understand) but the reason for the question was on a brochure i read online said that homosexuality is prohibited which made me look to see if there was a law against it and with that came all these articles about hate crimes against homosexuals so I ask the question cuz i don't know jamaica like that and I wanted to know from the peole who live there is the hatred or dislike rather twords homosexuals that bad as the articles make it seem or is it no different then it is in the US...people don't like it and people gonna run they mouth about it or look at you funny and very few may try to hurt u cuz of it but it aint that serious...so i know what to be prepare for when i go and leave the resort to see otha places i want to see. Thats all...some of dem wanna make it bigger then what it is.

There is a law on the books about buggering. And it's against the law not only in jamaica but other countries as well.
If you look at the history if canada and the us the law didn't change too long ago.

But from what yuh seh bout how yuh waan gwaan de same way as when yuh back home in texas. If a suh yuh feel fi gwaan I'd say don't go.

If you go to Saudi Arabia yuh cyaan drive so... you may even have to cover up cause that is their laws. ppl alway want to go to blk ppl country and changdem ways fi suit dem but when a smaddy else country unno quiat.

From what I understand Shotta means Gangsta...so unless i have the wrong defination of the word i dont see whats so offensive about it. and I don't make a spektical of myself...i don't put on a show for the world...i just be me and people notice just from my apperance just standing there and just want to know is PDA a big issue in jamaica as the internet make it seem or is it no different then in the US.

I not tryin to change anythin about jamaica or there laws just was inquiring about something i didn't knowand what is safe to do and in the US it's only against the law for us to get married except in recently change laws in certain cities...everything else is premitted. maybe i didn't ask the right question or ask it in the right way in why everyone is in a uproar about it

why do i see lesbian couples with one girl/woman looking mannish...with pants hanging off their a$$, baseball cap, tough-guy look screwing down any guy that looks at their honey...and general male vibe...

I can't speak for anyone else but its not about loving men or not...me personally i'm not attracted to men physically at all...never have been...and nothing happened to me as most people tend to think on why i am a lesbian but I dress manish as you say beacuse I like the clothes i've never liked the style of female clothes on me that has always been a issue with my parents ever since they allowed me to pick my own clothes...my body structure is like a man besides the fact that I have female gender parts...In My case im build and walk like my father but not purposely...I as always stronger or as strong as the guys when I was in school always had more in common with guys growin up...never like to play with the toys girls played with when i was young...as far as screwing up their faces at men who look at there gal they are insucure about something in my opinion...I don't do that I think it amusing that men look at my gal...$hit she beautiful who wouldn't look...I have always been a &quot;tomboy&quot; as they call it here since i was able to walk.

That may be the case for some lesbians, some are gay cause of things that happen to them but not in mine...I've been with a man before to rule out that possiblity...I've never been hurt by a man mentally or physically so that possibility is ruled out...I'm just totally attracted to women...always have been as far back as i can remember.
