just gonna run with the scandal passa passa aspect or are you willing to consider that other forms of family may exist besides the western nuclear family model...
this is an extreme case &amp; not a good model...
but my point is that jamaica has been given the 'matey' &amp; wife model...where hatred &amp; competition between women is taught &amp; promoted (even in music);
i can't see any evidence that the western model is working in jamaica

It's got nothing to do with western values,both the men and women lack discipline and control,just practising safer sex would ensure that kind of nonsense doesnt happen.

Jamaican culture seems to celebrate that kind of wanton irresponsible behaviour,even the word &quot;gyallis&quot; is coined to bigup wukliss men who go around breeding women and having kids all over the place,where the hell in western society are those kind of values being adopted as part of any culture.

Some jamaican men actively pursue this kind of irresponsible behaviour as a way of asserting their manliness,and the women encourage this slackness.
Life must be pretty dull indeed bececause despite the poverty and lack of wealth,some women see nothing wrong with having 4,5,6,or 7 kids with as many errant fathers,they need to clean up their blooody act instead of looking for blame elsewhere.

I once got hit in the head with a handbag at a funeral. Baby mama drama....her and the man finish[so they say]

This is ole news in JA cause it happens all the time. How many men have ONE baby mother? Funerals in Jamaica are something to behold, old African garry, and I've never been to a western one yet.

Every community has this type of thing going on. This one in particular minds all his children, in other words he's not a dead beat dad.
