Sagging pants, and exposed underwear

Its been all they rage with kids for some time now, its been going on so long that some of the kids who are no longer kids do not even realize they are now adults yet this habit persist.
I must admit that for a short while young girls were doing it, exposing their thongs and some rump flesh.
I hear it started in prison where<span style="text-decoration: line-through"> belts are we taken away so that they do not become weapons</span> its called easy access

The question is why are they doing this? apart from wanting to appear cool, in style or fit in, are they sending us a message and what could that message be?

any ideas?

It started in the prisions to let others know you were owned, you were smaddy b!tch.
The record companies realaize the conscious messages in hip-hop were good for the youth, so they bought up all the independent labels and made ppl change their lyrics to degrading BS. Then they got some of these prison owned fools and made them stars, put them on stage wid dem pans a heng dung and ppl thought it was cool.

It's gone on so long that the youths don't know no bettah now an tink seh it nahmal. They've successfully tunn nuff a wi ppl (an fi dem tuh) into a bunch of mindless sheep who live for this crap along with the unreality programs they keep dashin pan tv. And tuh tink seh ppl actually believe them getting good programming and are paying for this foolishness.

So the question is who is de real fool?

Pastor Dianne Robinson of Jacksonville, FL, is a crusader against the saggin' look. &quot;I think it is a very disrespectful act,&quot; she said. &quot;Sometimes they have on two and three pairs of underwear and most of the time it's not clean.&quot;
