The problem is that far too many people of African descent blame history for their woes, especially in the USA where it is big business for some such as Al Sharpton etc. As someone who lived in Africa for 23 years, the truth is that they have to work hard and earn the respect of those around them and not continually make false
excuses supported by silly white liberals with guilt complexes to make their way in the modern World. The fact is in my experience the descendants of the salves sent to the USA are far better off potentially now than their descendants that the African chiefs did not sell to the slavers. What? Praise from Daily Mail readers? Then I realised - they haven't read the article, they've only read the headline. As well as encouraging young black men to work hard, he quite rightly castigates powerful multinationals that plunder failing countries and states, again quite rightly, that European nations have under resourced Africa. We are living high on the profits gained when we stole the resources from Africa a couple of hundred or so years ago. These young black men are in this country because we invited their ancestors to come here to do the jobs we didn't want to do ourselves - then we treated them badly, and we've been doing so ever since. This is not just a problem for the black community, it's a problem for the whole community - we should be working together to sort it out, not blaming it all on young black men.

This great Man truly knows and speaks the truth, a very loyal servant of GOD, for all to know and see, he should be number one in the Church.

Also it is true a great pity ALL the mp's do not follow his example in speaking the TRUTH may be a better NATION for that to happen.

During the course of this discussion a reoccurring team is jobs /work hard .I have no disagreement with people having jobs and working hard to better themselves .Can the proponents of this argument explain how having a job and working hard can prevent the police from disproportionately
pulling over black men and issuing unwarranted traffic citations? as outlined in the above quote from the guardian


The issuing of unwarranted traffic citations has always be a covert tactic used by law enforcement to further a more sinister agenda. In this case , a agenda whose sole propose is to ensure black men become entangled in the criminal “justice” system. A cop with ulterior motives, need little or no reason to pull over a member of the motoring public.

Some of us might not be aware that ,there are enough laws on the books so that even the most law abiding citizen run afoul of the law on a daily , from jay walking to driving two miles over the speed limit. It is only a matter of selective enforcement, why more of us are not caught in trivial legal proceedings which can in a instance escalate to something more severe. Working hard until your fingers fall off will never immunize anyone, from any law enforcement agency hell bent on their incarnation.

Imo ,exposing these despicable acts to the world via cyberspace and or any other means could be a far more effective way to garner change than simply holding a job and keeping quiet. As the old saying goes, The Squeaky Wheel Gets The Oil.
