NWA head says Bog Walk corridor too expensive to maintain

PATRICK Wong has no doubt what should be done with the treacherous Bog Walk Gorge in St Catherine which has soaked up a conservative $500 million in repairs over the last decade.
"Personally, I think the Gorge should be closed...When you tally up how much we've spent on it as a nation over the last decade it's frightening," said Wong, the CEO of the National Works Agency (NWA) which has responsibility for the island's arterial road network.
