i can't answer for doc...
but jamaica has definitely from day one been a land of war & bloodshed---
since it was invaded by the spanish who brought trickery & rape to the island...a policy continued by the british in their boundless appetite for wealth & riches...
brutality & violence was the standard tool for those governments & the independent governments of jamaica carried on that dyed-in-the-wool jamaican tradition of extreme brutality & murder to keep the majority population in line....
it is clear to see...
economic conditions play a big part but jamaica has simply been misled by people with little vision...these types of crimes are more than a hungry belly ting...
it is hatred... bitterness....madness...
