Good point, Peasie.

Still better if they had named the airport for a famous Jcan with ties to the parish like Tacky (yes!) who is an important historical figure or Perry Henzell who did more than Fleming to make Jamaica known.

Anyway, who travels to a place because of the name of the airport? (Although, I do feel a way when I land at Houston's George Bush airport ).

Imagine how we felt when they added <span style="font-style: italic">Ronald Reagan</span> to the Washington National Airport But our town is filled with ironies. There is also the <span style="font-style: italic">Orkin</span> Insect Zoo at the Museum of Natural History

He even worked with Donovan the help establish the CIA after its forerunner the OSS.

If that's the case, it's not really an "international" airport and wont be operated as such since it will be for farrinas with their private planes.. If' it's a private bizzniz, it may not sit well with Jamaicans if they are not to benefit from it...

the thing is also that concessions were made...plane people said that they shouldn't have to pay nuff charges ....so we build a place fi peeps no haffi worry bout using di odda place whe dem would haffi compete wid commercial air carriers...wish i had saved the news paper article re the charges being lowered ...

par fi Ja...we helping a one buy a hotel him sue saying not viable an him wan di money him lose in di venture...lawsuit no done but we a help him buy wat him was trying to get out of...go figga...

but as long as a one can tek picture wid n raise a glass wid n include in guest liss wid until him party out of office, we selling like is ebay
