I recently watched a documentary doing its best to explain what science is now calling dark matter. What I saw was man's constant struggle to add merit to their never-ending quest for answers. Is it not so undeniably obvious how the human needs to be patted on the back and reassured?
Science is based on uncovering fact from fiction, and therefore refuses to observe or speculate on anything that is considered fictitious. And yet, in order to make what they do deem worthy of their considerations substantially sound, they then devise ways to make it seem so: self-delusion to the 9th degree of hypocrisy.
Because they are now running into roadblocks with their theories on the Big Bang, they are now finding themselves in the awkward position of rewriting their equations and throwing some more components into the design to keep it from falling completely apart.
And yet, they openly admit that they have no idea what dark matter is, only that it must exist. So in essence what they are saying is that there is something else out there that remains a mystery and that they do not yet know exactly what created the universe we know.
I have no problem with science as long as it remains in the realm it claims to support: Fact. I do have a problem when scientists devise equations to manipulate fiction into fact. If an equation does not work, do not just add another x or y to try and make it work.
That is what dark matter is. It is simply the added component of a failed equation. The (e) that they needed to keep their math on the blackboard of hope.
Science is now seeing things out there that rebels against what they have chosen to believe, and they cannot answer to it. This is causing scientists to begin to ask further questions, which is good. But they must avoid once again becoming delusional for the sake of self worth. I hope that this new generation of scientists will stick to truth and worry more about finding facts than gaining reputation.
Science now knows that there is some force out there causing the universe to act in ways that opposes their previous theories. The universe is expanding faster when it should be slowing down. There is not enough matter in the universe to create the type of situation that actually exists, so there must be some invisible factor out there that remains undetectable. The universe is being pulled in one direction toward some thing that they cannot explain.
Finally these younger brains are admitting to what the elders refused to acknowledge. Now let's begin to really take this to the realm of reality and start asking the right questions and looking in the right directions.
Many people have always known that there is an unseen force out there. Are scientists ready to begin talking about metaphysics - or some other force?
