Body parts found in container in Miami-Dade

Two men fishing in a canal in Northwest Miami-Dade late Friday afternoon found human remains in a large plastic storage container, WFOR-Ch. 4 reported.

Miami-Dade Detective Alvaro Zabaleta told WFOR that police do not know the identity, race or gender of the body parts found at Northwest 183rd Street and Northwest 73rd Avenue. Police also do not know how long the body parts have been in the container.

This is getting to be a regular thing down here.

A week or 2 ago body parts were found in a Dania canal in Broward county.

Just two days ago I found a turkey leg on my dinner plate but was able to trace it back to its previous owner with very little detective work.

We never did find the head so it was probably some sort of gangland murder.
