The US embassy would have no jurisdiction to decide what to do with the money.
All the sources don't word it this way, only yours.

And of course its drug money, but I think more along the lines of opium.

The US would have have jurisdiction in the sense that the US DEA would liase with UAE DEA (like Interpol) and together, decide what to do.

It is and was standard practice in Iraq and now Afghanistan for the United States to supply truckloads of cash to political people on the U.S. side to bribe those opposed to U.S. policy into not fighting the U.S.

Cash is the only thing most would accept and the quickest and easiest means of bribery.

There is an almost endless supply of cash since ,overwhelmingly the dumbed-down and terrified people of the United States want the government to spend as much money as THE GOVERNMENT HAS FOOLED THEM INTO THINKING IT TAKES to win the phony &quot;War on Terrorism&quot;.

We could have universal single payer health care for all with that money but the people have also been lied to about that to the point that those same people think they don't want it.

That 52 million is just pocket change .

52 million in one dollar bills would of course weigh far more than in 500 or 1,000 dollar bills

When I first saw the title I thought it was Jamaica. I was wondering which politically party...DWL. Based on some of the stories coming out of Afghanistan it seems the Jamaican Government and politically parties are mild when it comes to corruption...
