i will try to find his whole quote...they played the interview on the radio..he said..he was glad..he felt good etc.

I do know I cannot mentally distance myself from someone while living with them....mebbe it different if it is your kid....dunno.... as I dont have any kids

My Russian grandmother had a saying &quot;You raise enemies&quot;.

I suppose most people do the best they can in raising their children to be good people but kids in their late teens, early adulthood often get the idea that they know better than their parents about what they can and should do and once they're of age there's not much a parent can do but hope the kids don't get killed because of this typical thinking.

Often the kids will do the OPPOSITE of what the parents are trying to get them to do just to assert what they think is their coming of the age when they no longer have to obey their parents.

It isn't all one sided either. There is no test anyone has to take to prove that they will make good parents before they have children.

but i have seen good parents turn out some rotten kids....i believe some kids are just born with genes that make them turn into delinquents...

Lawd!! is all I can say......get the impression that the Dad mebbe was also scared of the son, the reporter says the son more or less ran the household. Dad prolly was scared to put him out

to be frank tho, i'm a little saddened by how frequently young black men are featured on 48 hours and the TPS press releases of the latest homicide victim.
