seriously though, there are people with whom I have serious disagreements and I would not have them go away because of the lively debates that the difference of opinion generates here and makes the place interesting.

It's like a neighborhood bar where people of all political stripes and races and religious beliefs hang out and argue and debate back and forth about things but with some level of decorum and respect.
Then in comes someone spouting the &quot;n&quot; word and talking about &quot;[censored]&quot; A hater, a bigot and that person is very quickly made to feel unwelcome and leaves for someplace where those opinions are tolerated.

Hateful opinions can only exist with an audience that either welcomes or tolerates them.
