make it Jamaica...i want to go on a trip..this snow is getting to me but for some reason it is as if i am compelled to go to Jamaica...so i wondered if others feel the same...do u feel that fi every trip u tek ,at least one HAS to be to Jamaica

Absolutely! I have to make at least one trip home to JA. The year just does not feel right without a trip home, especially towards the ending of the year.

I am torn because even though my roots are definitely in Jamaica my mother (God bless her soul) was Cuban, so I try to alternate each year between the two islands when I travel. Lately though, Jamaica just not tugging at my heart like it once did.

Yes! Snow's getting to me too, wish I was there for Xmas (especially reading that thread about Christmas in Jamaica) and I'm not even Jamaican!

When I lived in NY I did. But now that I can get a JA fix with a weekend visit, that feeling has changed.

But then, maybe that is because I go to JA more often since living in FL.
