Nigeria's 100m champion Obinna Metu is currently in Jamaïca for a 6 week training camp under Usain Bolt's coach Glen Mills, thanks to the support of his sponsor, G4S Security Company
Re: Obinna Metu training with Usain Bolt in Jamaica
I don't understand why Usain's coach would want to coach a direct competitor to Usain...I could understand if the person competed in another event, but maybe I'm just missing something here.

Its done all the time.
Did you see his best compared to Usain's worst.
It is win-win Bolt gets a training partner (which he always needs), the Metu gets to improve his time and run to his maximum ability.

Yes you missing something.
This is sport, not war.
He is a coach that is paid by those who he trains.
All he gets is his take home pay.
He can't take Bolt's record or money to the supermarket.
He has to earn his living.
Afterall no coach train just one athlete.
Neither do they train outside their competencies..
He is track coach and all athletes in. A race compete aginst each other. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: Tuff Gong</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> <span style="font-weight: bold">Obinna Metu training with Usain Bolt in Jamaica </span>
