PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC):
An earthquake measuring 5.1 shook Trinidad and Tobago last night, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
The National Earthquake Infor-mation Center at the United States Geological Survey said the quake occurred at 9 p.m. local time and was located 15 miles northwest of Port of Spain in Trinidad and 70 miles west-southwest of Scarborough in Tobago.
The quake, which was located 10.765 north and 61.691 west at a depth of 59 kilometres, was also felt in Guiria and Carupano in Venezuela.
