Floods in Australia

Quuensland Australia is flooded... this is an opertunity...I recalled driving through the areas that are under water and was overwelmed by the ammouint of cane and Bananas under cultervation...

The prices of these commodities will be high in the next year.. nuff said..

U know when I drove through Queensland land and surrounded by cane on one side bananas on the other,,, For three hours at 110 km an hour.. that was longer than than the lenght of Jamaica...!!! blew me away..

But we should be planting more cane! or it is a prospect for getting some land in the serengetti and get some cane in!!!!

Was in Queensland just before Christmas. From the plane you can see huge areas flooded. But it's their rainy season now &quot;The Big Wet&quot; they call it. So it's to be expected. Australia always suffers from floods, drought and fire. That continent if very susceptible to El Nino and La Nina influenced weather patterns.

Never knew that Australia cultivate sugar cane and bananas but makes sense since Queensland is in the tropical north of Australia.
