I lean towards not supporting it because people can barely have a conversation and come away with the same understanding. Leaving my fate to "12 of my peers" sounds like a hot mess waiting to happen. If you have to depend on the critical thinking skills of a jury then you're already at a disadvantage.
Different strokes for different folks but honestly I feel like the death penalty is the easy way out. Before I suffer the next 30 years in prison for something I didn't do, I would rather just be put down. God forbid I commit some infraction that lands me in solitary confinement. Let's just put an end to this, and I'll sort it out on the other side.

I am against it on the chance that, an annocent be condemned.
In cases where there is no doubt.....professional hitman, caught in the act, on camera, multiply witnesses. I may make an exception.
