Test are being carried out on around 500 red-winged blackbirds and starlings found dead in the US state of Louisiana.

It happened just a few days after some 3,000 blackbirds fell to earth in neighbouring Arkansas in the small town of Beebe.

Several scientific explanations as well as conspiracy theories have been put forward to explain what may have happened.

Arkansas also had 100,000 dead fish turn up on their shoreline... They said the two were not related.

They think the fish thingy was NATURE because they were from the same species??

.. they're doing something to the weather. remember the chinese olympics when they assured the world that the weather would be fine.

... they have a way of manipulating the weather that interferes with fish/bird homing instincts, and that's what's killing them all.

A shocking new study has found that bumble bees are dying off in substantial numbers. Most of us have already heard about the mysterious deaths of thousands of Red-winged blackbirds and drum fish in Arkansas. There is now chilling evidence that bumblebees are significantly dwindling as well. Who or what is to blame for the deaths of these creatures?

Let's start off with the latest study produced concerning the compelling amount of deaths in bumble bees. A three-year study led by Professor Sydney Cameron of the University of Illinois confirmed that bumblebees are indeed diminishing. According to Yahoo News, Cameron stated, &quot;The decline of bumble bees in the US is associated with two things we were able to study: the pathogen Nosema bombi and a decline in genetic diversity. But we are not saying Nosema is the cause. We don't know.&quot;

There have been previous studies that have shown the demise of bumble bees in Europe and Asia, but this is the first time that such an in-depth study has taken place. The study will soon be published in the Proceedings Of The National Academy Of Sciences. Concerning the death of bumblebees, Cameron stated, &quot;We need to start to develop other bees for pollination beside honey bees, because they are suffering enormously.&quot; Most people are aware of how important honey bees are, but many of us are not informed on just how relevant and beneficial bumble bees are as well.

So, it is now clearly evident why the bumble bees are in decline, but what about the blackbirds and the fish that unnaturally died here recently? 5,000 blackbirds fell to their death in Beebe, Arkansas a few days ago. All that we have been told about the analysis of the birds is that they died while in the air from blunt force trauma to their internal organs. Does that answer to such a bizarre event satisfy you? And what about the hundreds of thousands of drum fish that up and died at around the same exact time. We've got a seriously alarming number of deaths involving bumble bees, blackbirds, and fish. Our ecosystem is becoming more and more disturbingly unbalanced. It is clearly evident that finding a solution to decreasing the deaths of our creatures is a dire need. How do you feel about all of this? Do you agree that something has got to be done? Do you have any suggestions on what our scientists and environmental agencies could and should be doing to turn these catastrophic events around?

last summer i remember sitting on my deck and Lorna with a newspaper rolled up ready to swat this huge bumblebee into next week. Then she realised after i pleaded for mercy on the bees beehalf

many will try to rationalize it, but it may be as simple as the time is really near and christianity really wasnt a fantasy..
