The problem is that most addicts would rather be dead than being sober.
And rehab is not a cure.
Since it does not attempt to deal with the desease.
It simply try to train the patients to cope with the symptoms.
This require willpower....... And willpower is only effective on a temporary basis.
As a result is very ineffective with people with short attention span.
Addicts usually have short attention span.
Making the protocols next to impossible for them to master.
They tend to need constant support.
Which they eventually refuse.

Just that the lit cigarette thing bothers me bad. I see it on the roads here and it makes me bex. To hear him comment on ET about how an every day activity did not help because I see it on the road now and then and it is my biggest pet peeve, littering/lighted especially!
