This is what I find a bit hard to believe that the US govt would deny re-newing its citizen their passport due to non-payment of child support monies. I know this is done in some States for driver's license but on a federal govt level...!

he was not illegal...his problem is that the US passport expired n he needs a current one before the country will allow him to board a flight...i.e the country he is exiting...problem would seem to be that the US has attached passports like how states have attached ur DL to ur child support status....they will not renew until his payments r current...the airline will not board him with a expired passport n it would seem that now his 'attached' state wid PP office is part of his record...

nuff tings change dat people use fi tek fi granted an people dont find out until dem need a service....people who still deh pon green card need to know dat even a DUI could mek dem subject to deportation </div></div>

States have to be bailed out by the Federal government more time...an wid how much is owed to children sometimes u haffi tek it to a level wen peeps know u serious...if a one can do jail time fi none payment i dont have a problem wid something like this being done to someone who obviously is chosing not to pay...a planeticket n stay ovah dem is nuff money...even if smaddy pay u way it goes widdout saying u had was to be going fi do some job...n if him go pon vacation knowing him owe dis chile support well now dat is even worse

maybe he will stop spending on wateva grease it is dat mek him face an hair always dat sheen n tek care of di fruits of his loin...bet u him wudden a flex dis way wid Berry Gordy grandchildren....btw di fuss wife, Berry dawta did ha any pickney feem

Mi sey nutt'n nuh guh suh. If yuh inna di UnitidStates and yuh waah chravel, depending pan di state whe yuh reside, IF yuh nuh pay yuh chile suppowrt, dem wi CONSIDER denying yuh a pawspowt.

Obviously, dem nuh want yuh fi chravel guh outta di country wen yuh owe money, but dem NAAGUH STAP YUH FROM COMING BACK, expreshally wen yuh owe dem money. Commonsensetingsdis!!!

If yuh inna anodda country, and yuh pawspowt hexpired, di AMERIKKAN EMBASSY inenny farrin country will NOT deny yuh a renewal tuh guh home. Dem mite nuh give yuh a 10 year wan but demmaguh give yuh wan fi guh back home.

Yes - eg Expats would renew their passports at the US embassy
