yep. <span style="font-style: italic">that <span style="font-weight: bold">is</span></span> the point H_O.

don't anyone get me wrong now, i'm in full support that this lady gets taken care of, she did nothing to deserve that horrible thing that happen to her, she was just out there doing her job, and trying to do good. I would never want to see her suffer or god forbid, die, from lack of medical care. She deserves all the best care that can be given, so whatever needs to be done to ensure that recovery i don't begrudge that on a personal individual level for her. i'm fully behind the best medical care that can be given her.

however, the overriding principle still stands.... the point is that ALL the people deserve that SAME level of care, and ALL should have that level of care available, and affordable, to us.

Interesting and telling:

We all seem to be in agreement with the thought that those whom we elect are not doing what we want them to do and it cannot be that we are in the minority in how we think as all the polls indicate a massive disrespect for both parties and all branches of the federal government.

how is it then that Congress and the President just go about business as usual?

Polls also show that most Americans want a better health care system and yet the newly elected Tea Partiers and conservative/anti-Obama representatives are all hot about repealing the [censored]-poor reform package that is of some help saying:
&quot;That's what we got elected to do.&quot;
They have NO plan for health are but just want to go back to what we had which between 50 and 100 million Americans cannot afford.

Does this make any sense?

I know I'm beating a dead horse here but the way I see it, the problem begins with the nomination process in which the PARTIES choose the people for who we get to vote. We have no say in who these candidates will be unless we're one of the few hundred party people who make those decisions in every election.
After the undemocratic nomination process, the election campaigns of these PARTY candidates are financed by the corporations and wealthy who want to keep things like healthcare the way they are which benefits them and screws the people.
Once elected these representatives, Senators and presidents have to pay back those who financed them and as everything shows, that's exactly what they do 100% of the time where there is a conflict in which the interests of the corporations conflict with the interests of the people (us).

The democratic representative system as set up back in 1786 or so was even then tilted toward control by the landed and wealthy new American aristocracy and since then and especially more recently has devolved to the point that we are in a near feudal arrangement where the corporate lords are governing the masses of peasants and poor with little or no say for those governed UNLESS you want to call that 30 seconds we spend in the voting booth democracy.

When was the last time you were contacted in any way by your representative to ask you what YOU wanted from him or her?
