This is a picture of a nook in the Clinton's kitchen in Chappaqua, NY. Try and figure out what's wrong with it. It's not immediately apparent, but if you stare at it for a minute or so, it'll come to you. I had to get real close to the monitor and look closely before it finally came to me.

no curtains, no window shades, which lets the cold radiate from the windows. That's why it's cold in that room and why whoever is using the computer has his/her back to the radiator. The Ficus plant on bureau is in a terra cotta pot and saucer and if there is nothing waterproof under it, it will water stain the top of the bureau.
Someone painted the radiator with regular paint which insulates it and doesn't let the heat through as efficiently.
The flower in the vase on the table looks like it was picked and not something you can buy and it's winter.
