Why do people unfriend you and then months later decide to send you a friend request?

I just received a friend request from someone who I thought was already my friend. I never unfriended him, so it must have been him.

Then there is this other guy I went to HS with. We weren't that firendly in HS, and didn't reconnect during the months we were social network friends. I dropped him. Within a month he sent me a new friend request. But maybe he didn't even realize we were friends in the first place, so he may not have realized he had been dropped.

A few people I know either created new profiles or had their accounts hacked and had to sign up all over again and send a new friend request - that could be 2 possible reasons.

If you would like to remove a friend, navigate to the person’s profile...
If you would like to remove a friend, navigate to the person’s profile and click the &quot;Unfriend&quot; link in the lower left of their profile. If you select this option, you will be removed from the person's Friends List as well. You will need to repeat the friend confirmation process if you wish to be friends with this person again.

If I unfriended them then most definitely... unless dem sen a direct message and we get into some dialog about it and I decide to change my mind.

Why did you unfriend the HS one to begin with ? Why not just keep him even if unnu nuh interact frequently ?

This fassbook ting is something else enuh. Mi send mi next door neighbor (my age) from JA one message, she answered but never responded to my reply suh mi just nuh badder wid her

Let me correct that, we never interacted on FB. We have commented in the same posts, but never spoke directly to each other. So why should he be in on my list?
