ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) — Police have identified two suspects now facing charges after a 4-year-old girl died of alcohol poisoning.
Police identified the suspects as Wilguens Decelien and Mara C. Decelien, who are both related to the girl, Fox 5 Atlanta reports. Both are from Haiti.
Police and firefighters responded to a call for help at a condo complex and found the child Friday. The girl was airlifted to a hospital in Atlanta, where she was declared dead.
Police say both suspects have been charged with felony murder and second-degree cruelty to children, say police. It was not immediately clear whether either suspect had an attorney.
