Where's the Outcry When Blacks Victimize Blacks?

A question for black America’s BTT brigade: who ya gonna be mad at now? Certainly not the so-called “brothers” who attacked Nadin Khoury, I’m willing to bet.
To rehash, BTT stands for “Blacker Than Thou.” These are the black folks who swear they’re the second coming of Malcolm X, who figure it’s their life’s work to ferret out and expose the “Uncle Toms,” “Sambos,” “house Negroes,” “handkerchief-heads” and “sellouts” among black Americans. They know little-to-no black history; telling them that the character Uncle Tom in the novel of the same name died resisting a white man, not being subservient to one, sends them into apoplectic spasms. And when you ask them to speak out for victims of black-on-black crime like 13-year-old Nadin Khoury, their lips snap shut tighter than a closing bank vault door.
Khoury attends Upper Darby High School in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Upper Darby is a suburb of Philadelphia, and you can bet residents of the so-called City of Brotherly Love are heaving sighs of relief that the focus for what happened to Khoury is on Upper Darby, not their town.
On Jan. 11, about seven guys from something called the Opportunities Center at Upper Darby High punched, slapped and kicked Khoury. They hung him upside down in a tree and continued their assault after he fell out. When they figured they’d had enough fun, they hung the boy by his jacket from a wrought-iron fence. (News reports say that the Opportunities Center is for students who have “behavioral problems.” Gee, ya think?)
Now, one of these geniuses that took part in the attack filmed the incident on a cell phone. Then the dimwit posted it on You Tube. “Opportunities Center,” my foot: can somebody say “special ed” here? Because I’m betting these cretins came straight out of Upper Darby High’s special ed classes. It kind of makes me believe what a special ed teacher I met told me about special ed students. The only “special need” they had, she assured me, was to get a swift kick up the behind.
The news of the attack on Khoury was released earlier this week. So far, Upper Darby police have arrested seven of these special ed Negroes and charged them with kidnapping, criminal restraint, reckless endangerment, aggravated assault conspiracy and making terroristic threats, according to reports. All the suspects, who were arrested at Upper Darby High School and led off the campus in handcuffs, are now in a juvenile detention facility, according to the story.
While those BTT Negroes won’t utter one word of support for Khoury, you can bet that there is one segment of black America that will have the back of his assailants. And that would be none other than the members of black America’s “Criminals First” contingent.
You know who these characters are: The ones who always moan about the numbers of black men in jail and prison. The ones who claim, erroneously, that there are more black men in jail and prison than in college. The ones who made heroes of the so-called Jena Six, when there was nothing heroic about them. The ones who whine, “they’re jailing our babies” whenever a new juvenile detention center is built.
I actually heard the “they’re jailing our babies” claim from some character attending a showing of a film about the Black Panther Party. He didn’t realize that some of those “babies” would kill him with no regrets if he came across them in one of their “Lord of the Flies” moments.
In recent years, some Baltimoreans – most of them black, and therefore not on the radar of the BTT or “Criminals First” posse of African-Americans – have been killed after meeting such juveniles.
Jerrod Hamlett was a 22-year-old black man who rightly chided a 13-year-old who chucked a bottle and hit Hamlett in the foot. Apparently not used to being corrected by his elders and having a homicidal streak, the youth left and returned with a friend. The second youth handed a gun to the bottle thrower, who then shot Hamlett dead.
Hamlett found out the hard way what happens when ordinary, law-abiding citizens run into Juveniles With Attitude. So did young Nadin Khoury.
It would be nice if some black leader somewhere had some words of support for the lad, or at least showed the same concern they showed when they bumrushed Louisiana in 2007 to show support for the Jena Six.
Expect THAT to happen about half past when hell freezes over
