what is or is not on my page is not relevant - the issue is personal privacy.
i would never give up ANY personal privacy information for ANY job. to my way of thinking, private life and work are completely separate entities ..... and never the twain shall meet. A company i work for has NO RIGHTS to fass in a my private life or social life outside of the job. and that's that.
furthermore - any company that is so paranoid about what their employees "might" say or post to fb about working there - would be a red flag for me in the first place. that would indicate to me that it's not a pleasant or positive work environment, AND that they treat their employees like 5-year-olds; by taking a position that employees need to be "monitored" like little children. no SAH. To me that's demeaning, and disrespectful - that would not be a company i'd be comfortable working in.
Now - conversely, if they ASKED me to make an agreement to not discuss my job on a public internet network, for security reasons or whatever - i would find that to be a respectful request, and I would agree to that and abide by it.
But i would never agree to them being able to actually log in AS ME, using MY personal password, for purposes of monitoring me at any moment without my knowledge. Not to mention they could do all sorts of damage by changing things or posting things on my own page, under the guise of it being ME online - they could wreck someone's life like that.
Employees are adults and should be treated and respected as such -- if i was interviewing for such a company, the interview would be over the moment they asked for any passwords for any personal accounts i may have.
Gen, make sure to open up a new email account and register it to your FB account. DO Not ever post neg. job info from your home computer or email account. Be careful.
@Caf, I feel the same way you do.

are those people unionized? the unions would probably fight that. </div></div>
There are ways of accessing a persons Facebook page without the password access.
The password allows for the ability This make changes which would be credited on the owner of the page.
There is No ligitimate reason other then intent to make changes to to it.
