Mi have a million question!
Mi jus buy one in Ghana and mi go to mi first lesson today but is more of a play along ting an not a proper lesson so mi a look some tips.

No tips, just find a teacher!

Wow, that's way above my skill level!
Took me an hour to learn a beat that consists of about 20 beats. And my brain capacity can't handle any more than that!

I tell ppl the drummer you're looking for is inside you. you have to feel it.
Just start playing along wid some reggae instrumentals like dean frasers music or some african music.

I was there last Saturday. During lunch they have a five-minute drum session.

I was there with my girlfriend when it first open after reading a nice review in Timeout.
But it didn't live up to it's hype.

First our waiter was the only one without facepaint.
Mi ask him is wah do yuh bredrin. Him seh him come late an couldn't bodda!
African restaurant fi true.

Then in the review dem tell me bout some nice nice oxtail and since Bluefields close down I don't find a oxtail I like again.
So mi set mi mind pon oxtail and when mi order man tell me seh it finish!! <kissteet>

An no drum nuh peng peng when wi did deh.
But that was last year, maybe dem a improve.

Oh an dem nuh sell likka and mi cyaan get inna de vibe wid a soso mango juice when when the food need is a Star.

Ya man! Mek wi go. But gi me a few months fi proctice (an build up mi callus dem caw right ya now mi hand dem a hut me and mi still getting mi tone and slap confuse.

Nuff respec, iya. Mi was practicing with no music and it sound terrible an timing all wrong.
Yesterday at the lesson with other people I think I was doing well. So me ago try dis
play along ting and see where it get me.
