Some women have fulfillment with a part/time career, full time career outside the home while some want to stay &amp; raise their kids.

Some men choose the stay at home dad thing and from the few in my area- they seem to have it down pat

The breakdown in the extended intergenerational family is a major part of the problem

Western society doesnt seem to have found a happy medium as yet,other societies where the women stays at home and the man goes out seems to enjoy better extended family,however admittedly there are exploitation of women by some men,....but we also have sexual exploitation of women in most western societies.

Taking everything into consideration I am sure no one on here would advocate a complete role reversal where women go out to work and men stay at home to mind the kids and look after the household.

there are plenty of stay-at-home dads right now due to economic forces...

women are right now i believe- nuffer in college than men...don't even mention when it come on to black women vs. men in college &amp; the professional world;

obviously women are better nurturers generally than men &amp; are more suited for child rearing in the early life of children, but that said-
families &amp; societies must organize roles based on mutual understanding &amp; maximum efficiency....with goodwill &amp; love involved;
it should never be a dictatorial or malicious thing...
