<span style="font-weight: bold"> KD Knight, has beefed up his personal security.</span>
The move came after a comment made by Attorney General Dorothy Lightbourne, that he had told her in 1980 that "all labourite fi dead". The comment was made during yesterday's sitting of the enquiry.
<span style="font-weight: bold">Knight arrived at this morning's sitting of the inquiry with the a heavy security detail.</span>
He is demanding an apology for the comment which he has vehemently denied.
Meanwhile security at the Jamaica Conference Centre in downtown Kingston had been increased.
The conference room in which the enquiry is been kept has been beefed up with a number of police officers and supporters of both parties are thoroughly searched before being allowed inside.
The increased security is due to heated verbal clashes between supporters, which at times threatened to become violent.
Security minister Dwight Nelson and a PNP councillor Eugene Kelly of the Whitfield Division also had a verbal altercation yesterday.
Unlike in previous days, party supporters are now mostly dressed in neutral colours.
