The video rightfully claims that President Obama has to get his head out of his backside.

What the video doesn't say is that the American people have to get their collective heads out of their backsides.

The solution to the threats from bombs on planes and elsewhere is not increased detection but rather not giving people reasons to want to bomb American planes in the first place.
It is U.S. foreign policy that sends the U.S. military overseas and kills people for things they have that we want. It is international armed robbery and commission of murder in the process.
And we don't just kill those who resist the robbery. We kill old men and women, small children, people at wedding parties, anyone indiscriminately who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It should be no surprise that the friends and relatives of those killed would want revenge for the killing of their kids, their parents, their friends for no good reason.

But it IS a surprise to most ignorant Americans who have come to believe that it is an Islamic Jihad; a holy war declared by the Islamic world on us poor innocent Americans rather than the blowback, the getting back at us for killing them.

This is a democracy of sorts. WE elect the people who order these killings overseas in mainly Islamic countries. It is we who are uninformed and disinformed because we choose to believe the lies of our elected officials and even when we do find out that they lie, we reelect them.
By so doing we ensure that full body scans, pat downs, other scams, inconveniences and invasions of privacy will continue and we (most of us) don't even stop to think that these things only exist because of what we allow to happen in our names.

All we need do is stop killing them and they will stop wanting to kill us.

But that seems too complicated a concept for Americans to understand.

About 250 full-body scanners manufactured by Rapiscan Systems will be re-examined at LAX and other airports (38 airports) nationwide after several inconsistencies were discovered in maintenance records, according to the Transportation Security Administration.
Contractors charged with routinely examining the scanners submitted reports containing discrepancies, including mathematical miscalculations showing that some of the devices emitted radiation levels 10 times higher than normal.
Out of precaution, the TSA on Friday ordered another round of testing for Rapiscan's Secure 1000 scanners, also known as backscatter machines. Additionally, the TSA said it will publish test results on all X-ray equipment used to screen airline passengers and baggage.
"In our review of the surveys we found instances where a technician incorrectly did his math and came up with results that showed the radiation readings were off by a factor of 10," said Peter Kant, executive vice president of Rapiscan Systems.
"Fortunately, our Secure 1000 machine is one of the most tested and proven out there, so certainly another survey in testing the equipment is fine with us," Kant said. "The TSA is doing this out of an abundance of caution, but these systems are safe, and will continue to be safe."
Nearly 40 airports nationwide, including Los Angeles International, are equipped with Rapiscan's backscatter machines.
