<span style="text-decoration: underline">You have until next Saturday</span>, (19-26MAR), to come up with some creative lyrics to a reggae or dancehall riddim of your choice and posting them in the contest thread. The riddim and the subject are yours to choose. Do you have the lyrics to the next hit single? Will your lyrics sell off?

The song must have a minimum of two verses and a chorus.
A winner will be selected by a member vote. </span></span>


<span style="color: #666666"><span style="font-size: 14pt"><span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">Rules, Terms and Conditions:</span></span></span></span>
<span style="font-weight: bold">1. This competition will run from <span style="color: #00CCCC">Saturday</span> MAR 19, 2011 to <span style="color: #00CCCC">Saturday</span> MAR 26, 2011.

2. Entries will only be accepted inside of the Contest Thread. They must be embedded into the thread. Entries elsewhere on the forums will not be accepted.

3. The Winner will receive a <span style="color: #FF0000">Western Union $25 Gift Card</span> , and his/her song will be showcased on the <span style="color: #FF0000">Home Page of Jamaicans.com</span> in April 2011.

4. The Competition is open to all Members, Moderators and Administrators.

5. No limit on number of entries.

6. All Board Rules will be enforced, and entries that violate those rules will not be eligible.

7. The minmum requirement for an entry is two verses and a chorus.
Each verse must have at least four lines or the total lines in all verses and
chorus must not be less than 12. Maximum is 28 lines.

8. After the initial entry is made, there shall be no editing of the lyrics,
so utilise the 'preview post' function before submitting.

9. The lyrics must be an original work and should not have been published anywhere else prior to this competition. Plagiarized work will be disqualified.

10. Recycling of entries from previous jamaicans.com competitions is prohibited.

11. Voting will take place between <span style="color: #FF6600">Sunday MAR27 and Wednesday MAR 30 In the Voting Thread</span>

12. The winner will be announced <span style="color: #33CC00">Thursday, MAR 31, 2011</span>

13. If there is a tie, the Webmaster will determine the winner. All decisions and judgements are final and subject to the discretion of the Webmaster.</span>
