Prime Minister Bruce Golding will be under the spotlight when he makes his first appearance before the Manatt/Dudus Commission of Enquiry at the Jamaica Conference Centre in downtown Kingston Friday morning.
Mr. Golding is scheduled to take the oath at 9:30, and begin giving evidence through questioning from his attorney Queens Counsel (Q.C.) Hugh Small.
He will then be cross examined by other lawyers present.
The police say there will be a heavy security presence at the Jamaica Conference Centre for Mr. Golding's appearance following Thursday's scare when suspicious envelopes were delivered to three attorneys at the Enquiry.
It is also expected that there will be a strong show of support from Cabinet members as well as members of the governing Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) for the Prime Minister.
Mr. Golding's testimony is one of the most anticipated due to his role in the series of events which culminated in the security forces raiding Tivoli Gardens in May last year
