There is a very disturbing article in today's Observer.
I can't tell if it is a true or an apparent increase in the incidence (as a proportion of the absolute or a given number of children in the population) of child suicides as what is being recounted here is only anecdotal. But I certainly can't seem to recall anything like this happening, on what now seems to be too regular a basis, when I was growing up or as a young adult.
