I'm voting for Obama again..he didn't leave the country any worse than G.B. left it...we still have a long way to go but if the Repugs keep shutting down the progressive bills we will forever be in this predicament...

A vote for Obama is a vote to change nothing.You might as well vote Republican.

Let me ask you what it is you either do not understand or agree with in the highlighted paragraph above that would have you vote for Obama again.
Do you think that he has not been &quot;vetted&quot; by his fellow Democrat Party members to do exactly what he has done (and not done) so far and which has disappointed so many of his supporters ?

Ron Paul and I agree on several key issues but disagree on too many other things that are important to me to ever support him.
That is as close as i can get to choosing anyone to the right of the Greens or someone like Ralph Nader.

I can proudly say that I have never voted for anyone I didn't want.
No lesser of two evils EVER.
Consequently I have never voted for anyone who won.
I can always remember friends and family voting for the lesser of two evils and getting evil nonetheless.
I have never been in and never will be in that position.

I know the popular belief is that we hhave two parties and therefore we have a choice.

We on the left believe that there is only one party; the capitalist party and it has a sort of left wing (Democrat Party) and a right wing (Republican Party). They both blindly and obediently serve the needs and wants of the corporations and the wealthy.

ALWAYS.

We are living in an oligarchy: a country that is ruled by the rich and that is the reason things are so screwed up. It is not a representative democracy as a republic is supposed to be . It IS the unelected dictatorship of the dollar and if you don't understand this or believe this you will vote for the lesser of two evils and get what you, as an uninformed, disinformed citizen in a &quot;democracy&quot; deserve; A president Obama who will lead you to believe he will do certain things that you want and then do what his corporate bosses want and ignore all his promises to the poor and working class voters.

RichD:

1) I don't know if Nader is running or not this next time and
2) assume the Greens will continue to try fielding candidates.
3) I do not at all expect Ron Paul to be able to get control over the MICC but I would enjoy a long campaign for the presidency in which Paul would get to expound on his non-interventionist foreign policy views because they are so opposed to long standing IMPERIAL policies. There is the chance that the public would come to a better understanding of the lies they've been fed and just how illogical the military mindedness of the country is.

Of course Paul would lose because he would not, could not get nominated by the Republicans because he is anti-imperialist and does not reflect the mainstream of the party nor the interests of the people they serve

Unless I see a better candidate present themself - I will be voting for him again - no two ways about it.

Did I support every move he made over the past few years? no

Did I get mad at him sometimes and feel disappointed? yes

However, overall I think he has tried to make good on most of his promises... and he has been fighting a hard battle against republicans who oppose him with no logical arguments to justify why they do so... he cannot make decisions in a vacuum... Every single measure that he has tried to institute has come with massive compromise and excessive wrangling.

He is just a man - but IMO - the best man for the job right now.
