If u get a invitation (in di mail) from the madda of di bride, (yuh kno har dawta but not very close to dem) but it nuh have nuh instructions to di reception, would you:

So you got an invitation to the ceremony and it has no direction to the reception?

If it is someone that I'm not close to (just know as an associate) I wouldn't bother go. Just wish her well from a distance cause rain a go fall

sometimes the parents want to invite THEIR friends but the kids cannot afford to feed EVERYBODY. its not uncommon to get invite to cermony and not the reception/dinner...is a growing trend expecially if u have a big guess list.

or maybe dem backwards an no do up the invites rite wid di proper info. if u an di madda close u can call har and find out exactly wat a tek place.

if smaddy invite mi to den ceremony but not the reception meeda understand. mi wouldnt feel no way. plus the &quot;wedding&quot; is really the ceremony neways really...so galang man. if u no go bad blessing wi falla u and all ur days shall be full of nuff nuff rain.

First of all, I'm not going to a wedding where the bride or groom didn't send me an invitation. If their mother wants me there because I'm her friend, then she needs to put my name on the guest list. (Never mind the receptions I crashed when I was in college where I didn't know bride nor groom.)

I only know one person who didn't invite the same set of people to the wedding as the reception. She did it the opposite way. She didn't invite as many people to the ceremony as she did the reception. I'm not sure which is worse.

I would wish them well, but that's about it. I suspect you're not going to run into them to ever get the chance to do so..
