Easter Egg Hunt Etiquette

My neighborhood is having an Easter Egg hunt for the children tomorrow. Is it wrong for me to want to snatch up a couple of boiled eggs?

I’ve been coloring eggs for my daddy for over 20 years. I actually hate doing it, but I have to admit I do like a good boiled egg on Easter. Would it be out of order for me to hunt out some eggs and not just leave it to the kids?
