Was there actually any real evidence pointing to bin laden as the architect of 9/11..?
Americans can rejoice now at his passing but it means absolutely nothing,...he was merely a symbolic figurehead of an ideology,you cant kill an ideology.

It was never proven beyond doubt that bin laden planned 9/11,..he was just a scapegoat,but as usual americans prefer to be presented with a bogey man they channel their hate.

EXCELLENT analysis and all you really need to think about all this.
If the Military Industrial Corporate Complex did not have Osama Bin Ladin for an excuse to maintain a military large enough for its real purpose which is to control the world, they would have to invent him or some other threat.

Osama Bin Ladin said that he would wear us down and break us economically just as they did the Soviets.

Well, we have been in Iraq and Afghanistan longer than in any other war in our history, we have spent THREE TRILLION dollars in fighting wars and on things like airport security and intelligence agencies, killed hundreds of thousands of innocents and by so doing have created an army of people looking for revenge.
the Islamic world is all against the United States.
All polls show that Osama was far more popular than Obama in the Islamic world and in death will likely remain even more popular.


Lastly, anyone who also thinks that the Pakistanis did NOT know exactly where he was
for the past ten years is also sadly naive.
As R_C astutely pointed out, if you think that this death of OBL ends anything, you're thinking foolishly.

One thing that I find disturbing is the amount of cheering and parading going on. Yes the man is dead but it cannot undo what has been done and it is ok to smile as u read the obituary but I find the 'in your face' gloating a part of the american hubris that has caused it to be a target for other nations.
