I think he was right to decline, this is not his moment him don't have nothing to do with it, and you know it was only extended as a courtsey to him and Clinton, and Clinton not going either.

Well pardon me for not mentioning Clinton... but I think they both should go. It would be ever so nice to have it a moment of unity with all of the former Presidents attending.

But on the other hand, I just think in terms of Bush ..he's afraid of the optics. How small would he look standing there beside his successor.... hence my opinion that he is punking out.

i think it is dignified in a way the way he is shunning the limelight as an ex-prez...
