i think his point was that summary execution without trial ---by states--- is a slippery & dangerous slope;

it opens up the door for governments to frame whoever they don't like & just go anywhere in the world to hunt them & kill them---

The people who are fighting back against the United States might live in predominantly Moslem countries but they are not fighting the United States nor did they fight the Soviets for religious reasons.

They fight any outsiders who try to run them as is the right of any people, any country no matter the religion.

The U.S war against only Moslem countries at present is due to the fact that those countries are situated over oil and gas that the United States wants to control.

The thinking that Moslems suddenly developed a hostility to the United States because of their religious beliefs is what the U.S government would have you believe.

This helps to obscure the real reason the United States is OVER THERE killing people for their oil and causing what the CIA calls &quot;blowback&quot;.

If you do not understand this very basic cause and effect, you do not understand the reality of what is going on in the world today.

Let me make this even clearer. The government and media are lying to you about what this &quot;War On Terror&quot; is all about and you believe them.

All this U.S. flexing of muscle to assure its access to oil may very well be mute once China's military becomes fully mobile.

A Chinese military in the middle east is foretold in the book of Revelation BTW. Apparently at some point they will launch an all out attack on Israel. Could this be because Israel will be the last nation in the region that America can use to mobilize a counter attack?

Not so fast. Saladin had Muslims, Christians and Jews living in peace.

Well the Americans And the Brits at least were at war with the countries of tgr nationals the interred.

The Moslems unlike the Jews of the day were allowed the freedman to attend schools and the majority Did.
They had all freedoms other white ethnic groups had.
Their repression only happened after it was ascertained that the terrorist actions some had been directing at Jews were broadened to include Westerners in and outside of their countries.
When were the Jews afforded the equal opportunities the Moslems had in the west prior to the beginning if the retaliation against the terrorist activities?
Jews for centuries were prevented in functioning in the economic activities of European countries in every areas except jewelry and money lending.

So how is the behavior of hitler's Germany action against the Jews in any the equivalent of the treatment of the nationals of countries they were at war with?
