U.S. commandos who raided Osama bin Laden's compound also recovered a "fairly extensive" stash of pornography, including videos, Reuters reports.


The news agency quotes unidentified current and former U.S. officials as saying it is unclear where in the sprawling compound the material was found nor is it clear who had been viewing it.

The officials specifically say they do not know if bin Laden himself had acquired or viewed the materials, Reuters reports.

Recently released home videos showed bin Laden viewing pictures of himself on a TV screen, indicating that the compound did have equipment for playing videos.

Yes it is a shame that a man who boasted about taken innocent lives was killed. Usually I @ the CIA and the supposedly authorized or justified killings, but not this time. Bin Laden was a special case, why would anyone care if he received a fair trial?

If the U.S had the proof of his crimes then they should have put him on trial as they did the Nazis at Nuremburgh or so-called geonocidists in the Balkan War.

If they do not intend justice for all which means a fair trial then they should take it out of the Pledge of Allegiance.

Otherwise they could go around the world and just assassinate people they don't like such as Fred Hampton of the Black Panthers, Patrice Lumumba in the Congo, Salvador Allende in Chile, Fidel Castro in Cuba (many attempts), JFK, MLK Jr. and Michael Jackson.
