Derek,

Obama talks the talk but WILL NOT walk the walk on the Palestinean issue.

He will not retract what he said about the necessity of Israel returning to the 1967 borders but neither will he do anything to ensure an honest settlement (no pun) of the issues since both he and the rest of the U.S government fully support the criminal state of Israel.

Those who think Obama is sincere in what he said should copy and save this post and come back at the end of his second term and we will then see who was correct from the get go.

Obama knows quite well what he is doing... There is no way that he'll push the Israelis to the wall, (no pun intended)... By appearing to be &quot;firm on them&quot; returning to the 1967 boundaries, it will garner much support from Palestinians and some Arab states in the region without changing much of anything...

The United States is the only other country that will back Israel at the United Nations and because the U.S has veto power over anything that the entire world votes FOR nothing has ever been able to pass in that organization that would help the Palestineans get their own country

If Obama ordered his U.N delegate to vote for the bill the Palestineans are going to introduce which would establish a Palestinean state, the Palestineans would get their state.

Secondly, each year the United States GIVES Israel some 2-3 BILLION dollars which Obama could use as a club to get the Israelis to do what the world thinks it should do.


The facts is that Obama, the Dems and the Republicans have no intention of allowing the establishing of a Palestinean state.

They will let the Israelis go on with their ethnic cleansing in the attempt to and drive out the Palestineans and take their land.


That is the history and that is the future.
