.. SMART phone rec..

Need some guidance on getting a smartphone..
was slighted by Bell a few years back on my BB, so been indifferent to the whole smart phone craze for the past 5 years..
But now seeing the convenience with the wireless and G5 use..

Any rec?
Andriod / iPhone (aka spyPhone) ?

Will be buying my own, no plans

I've bought a Nokia C6, unlocked. I love it; QWERTY keyboard, touch screen. I don't have a plan, it's a GSM phone and I can buy a sim card in whatever country I go to and still use my own phone. I went to the DR last month, bought a Sim card and enjoyed my trip with my phone.

I think my mobile phone is a smart phone...a Samsung something or the other. Well at least it has a touch screen QWERTY but i don't get on the internet, or use it for any "smart" stuff that is over and beyond making a call and sending an occasional SMS.

I use a Nokia C6 unlocked for my travels.. just as how you say, use a Sim card for the country I'm in and bought a card to add mins.

were you the one here complaining about Virgin Mobile. Well, I have the VM Lg Optimus V and it's my first Adroid phone. I confess, Android are far better than iphone. Unlock iphone is kinda cool but Android is by far better.
