Our colleagues at Hotel Check-in report this morning that a prominent Egyptian banker has been arrested for the alleged sexual abuse of a housekeeper at his posh Manhattan hotel.
The incident comes less than two weeks after the then-head of the International Monetary Fund was charged with the attempted rape of a hotel maid at a different New York City hotel.
In the latest incident, 74-year-old Egyptian banker Mahmoud Abdel-Salam Omar has been charged with "sexual abuse, unlawful imprisonment, forcible touching and harassment" of the 44-year-old housekeeper at The Pierre on Sunday, The Daily News and The New York Times report.
<span style="font-weight: bold">Police sources report that he allegedly requested room service, answered the door in his pajamas, then locked the door behind him before allegedly grabbing and groping the hotel employee.</span>When its hot in the jungle of peace I go swimming in the ocean of love.....Comment
