so i discovered two more in the last day 
1- the actress from "mississippi masala" with denzel- who played his indian love interest- sarita chowdhury--
she could be jamaican...
in her bio they wrote she was raised partly in jamaica...they also wrote how her parents were married in jamaica- so i put 2 & 2 together...& now i claim at least a part of her as a yaadi...
2- the ll cool j song "doing it well"...always loved the beat...
found out it is sampled from grace jones' "my jamaican guy" tune from the 80's
