The fact that there are Dual Citizens still occupying Jamaica's Parliament and other High Offices?
The USA Cables leaked to WikiLeaks, that point to direct interference into Jamaica's local politics

Over its existence the Diaspora Advisory Board have been noticeably absent on things that one would imagine to be of interests to Jamaicans, especially those of us in the Diaspora.

The Universal Access Fund
The JPS Contract
Air Jamaica Privatization
The outrageous terms of the Money Transfer Folks
Jamaicans ripping off Jamaicans trying to regularize their status after migration.

It now falls to the USA to take the lead on the last two issues with the Diaspora Advisory Board saying nary a word!

One would expect that representatives of the &quot;Dispora&quot; committee visits/monitors or at least know of the JAMAICANS.COM (virtual) community.
What's their response to the questions asked?

What exactly are the expectations from Jamaicans (home and &quot;abroad&quot from this &quot;Diaspora&quot; group?
What exactly does this Dispora group do? What is its mission /mandate? .
