Twice!
Once in college when mi did a try fry some oil inna de pan while watching tv inna de nex room. Mi roomate mention sintin bout one "orange glow" pan kitchen wall that's whn mi 'memba bout it! So mi tek de burning pan an carry it thru de house
and open door an dash de pan outside.
Next ting you know grass of fire!!!
Nealy bun dun de whole complex.
Second time was at my first airline and we had to practice putting out a fire during initial training. But since the airline was cheap, the fire was set inside one bucket by the instructor. The excercise was happening on a grassy patch right outside the CEO's window. Mi accidentally tip de bucket wid de fire extinguisher and de grass bun dung while everybody frantically try dash dirt onto it.
Mi fuss cyaar also bun dung, but de i had nuttin fi do bout that thou

nuff time..during mi farming and labouring mi light fiya inna cane peice few time dunga appletan, dat was before wi guh chap cane fi dem..
Mi bun out grung few time fi guh farming...
One time some socilaist threathen fi bun mi yard dung.. an deh nex day fiya bruck out ah wi yard ...
one time mi get caught up inna bush fiya inna deh cockpit county.. Hwlping a farma put out a fiya...mi lung fulluppa smoke an mi drap roll dung hill till mi reach gully.... bout a hundren meter.. good ting mi did unconsious mi only suffa a few breusis..
an during mi war days mi bun a few house, us a few molotov coctails one time wi camp ketch fiya.
las time mi bun up a cyar an a autopista between Ancona an Pescara inna 1999....bout mi a try race a mercedes wid a puergout... mi rip out deh gear bax
On deh positive side mi duh fiya fighing training pan boat helicopta plane, house.. suh mi put out all kina fiya in training.. gas fiya, wood fiya metal fiya.. mi even light a termite bumb.. (magnesium alluminioum powder.. dat burn concrete...)water round deh side not direct odda wise is plasmerise water into hydrogen)
wi did haffi duh evacuation outa burning buliding excercise wid breathing aparatus, outa smoke fill boat widout breathing aparatus.. inna wan helicopta pan fiya inna wata landing.. (inna deh las fiya house mi breathing aparatus pull off an mi drap laka stone...
Deh funniest fiya story was one time in deh Libyan desert roun Gialo one one drilling rig generator ketch fiya when dem was a move dhe rig.... an deh watch man start try fi put hit out wid a hose.. mi naw lie deh man was pouring deisel pan deh fiya...Comment

Nothing recent.
I did once set a good fashioned fire in my parents' den when they were out of town. Smoke inhalation didn't do me in but the coughing woke me up. I was going to be in so much trouble that I ran out and got the hose and put it out myself.
Man oh man oh man. Thank goodness the insurance let mom redecorate the room which finally got them off me.Comment

Mi and sume bredren skull school, Wi had one stick of matches in a match box..
some bet started to see how much we could burn wid one stick a matches..
by end of day we had (a think it was Waterford) fire station fighting bout 20+ acres a raging fire.
It was mostly bush doe..
Part of a cane piece did ketch fire, but the cane piece Ranger out it.
Mi get fi understand dat a bus shed was burnt out and a few cigarrette and food/fruit stalls were burn to ash..
It also threaten to burn down a building we used to call “Site” (which was the site office for the early development of Portmore)
Amazing how much damage one stick a matches+plastic oil bottles on a stick can do..Comment
