I cannot tell you how many posts I've read from people bemoaning crime and other problems that stem from poverty. It is no secret that if you're out of work, a new job is very hard to find (there are four unemployed people for every job available in the U.S.)
Today's edition of ZNET contains FOUR stories on the collapse of the economy and its effects.
Most of these will not be interesting to those who just don't read this sort of stuff but I am posting them for those who have faith in the (neo-liberal capitalist) economic system under which we all live but who have their doubts as to what the future portends.
If there are any who do read any of the articles, I would appreciate your thoughts on any of the points found in them.
I found that the charts in the first article below say a great deal with just a glance at them, whether or not you read the article itself.
